Isabel Davies, the former Head of Intellectual Property (IP) at the London Office of Howrey LLP, is to join CMS Cameron McKenna LLP as a senior Partner in the firm’s IP team within the Commercial Practice Group, as of 7 August.
Isabel is one of Europe’s foremost IP lawyers specialising in all forms of dispute resolution, including mediation. For over 20 years Isabel has focused on all aspects of intellectual property including patents, trade marks, design, copyright, confidential information and trade libel. She has an extensive background in multi-jurisdiction litigation and is a noted expert in IP litigation.
Among a number of other industry roles, Isabel is Chair of the Law Society Intellectual Property Working Party and coordinated their response to the Government’s Gowers Review into IP. She is a former board member of the International Trade Mark Association, and is also a regular author and commentator on IP and trade mark issues.
