Tomasz Minkiewicz has significant experience in Polish mining law and legal matters related to oil and gas, and for many years has represented companies engaging in upstream petroleum activity in Poland and abroad.
Tomasz has also represented sponsors in a number of power projects in Poland financed on a non-recourse basis (project finance), including the development of a coal-fired co-generation facility in Chorzow, and gas fired CHPs in Nowa Sarzyna and Zielona Gora. His responsibilities included negotiation of long-term power purchase agreements, fuel supply agreements, interconnection agreements and other project documents.
Recently, he has been focusing on advising companies from the renewable energy sector, including developers of wind farms and waste-to-energy projects. Tomasz also been involved in negotiation of EPC contracts related to investment in power generation and petroleum production and refining.
