Tomasz Kurek is an Advocate and a Partner in CMS Cameron McKenna’s Warsaw office, heading Real Estate and Construction Department.
He specialises in civil law, real estate and construction law, as well as commercial and administrative law.
In 1986-1992 Tomasz Kurek ran his own legal practice providing legal advice to clients from the property sector. In 1992-1998 he was a member of the property team at the law office of Wardyński & Partners in Warsaw, which he headed in 1999-2000. He participated in property market transactions, providing comprehensive advice in relation to real estate acquisitions, real estate development, establishing securities related to financing these projects, and preparing due diligence reports and legal opinions concerning real estate. He also represented clients in disputes related to real estate and construction. From January 2001 until April 2006 he was the leader of a 10-person Real Estate Development and Infrastructure Projects Practice Group at Baker & McKenzie Gruszczyński & Partners.
He has authored numerous publications concerning real property law and construction investment law.
He is fluent in English and Russian.
