Tim Ingham has recently returned to London from Hong Kong, where he was based for over 10 years. He is recognised by the Asia Pacific Legal 500 as one of the leading insurance lawyers in Hong Kong.
In Hong Kong, he acted for most of the Hong Kong operations of the large international insurance and some reinsurance companies, and has developed his reputation particularly in many areas of professional indemnity (auditors, accountants, insurance brokers, engineers, architects, estate agents, financial advisers and solicitors), D&O and financial lines claims work, construction and operational insurances and professional liability.
Tim has advised on policy drafting for various lines of business and is a litigation claims specialist advising the market on coverage issues as well as defending claims against their insureds. Tim has advised on regulatory and technical problems associated with global programmes in Asia and is currently assisting a large international insurer on similar issues in Europe.
Tim is also the coordinator of the European Insurance Group within CMS, dealing daily with insurance and other lawyers within the CMS and associated network of law firms, to provide advice to our clients in London and across Europe. |
