Tom Page is a Corporate Partner and Head of the Hotel & Leisure Group. 

Tom specialises in mergers & acquisitions primarily in the hotel and leisure sector, for clients such as Choice Hotels International, Corus Hotels, Emaar Hotels & Resorts, JJW Hotels & Resorts, Le Meridien, Moorfield Group and The Royal Bank of Scotland.

He also acts for clients in the technology, healthcare and real estate sectors. He advises hotel owners, investors, developers and banks extensively on hotel management and franchise agreements, including for hotels under the Accor, Choice, easyHotel, Hilton, IHG, Le Meridien, Marriott, Millennium & Copthorne, Park Inn, Radisson and Starwood brands. He also advises banks such as RBS and Lloyds TSB on the corporate and management agreement aspects of hotel acquisition/development financings, re-financings and restructurings. In addition, he has experience of corporate finance transactions, property funds, joint ventures and outsourcings. 

He has spoken on various hotel-related topics at a number of international hotel conferences and is recognised as a leading practitioner by Chambers 2009 in the Hotel & Leisure sector. 

Relevant experience includes advising: 

  • Nomura on the £1.9 billion acquisition of the Le Meridien chain of international hotels 
  • A large UK bank on the £397 million acquisition of a portfolio of 16 UK Hilton hotels 
  • Accor on the £440 million sale and leaseback of 30 UK Novotel & Ibis hotels 
  • JJW Hotels & Resorts on the €174 million acquisition of two Le Meridien hotels in the Algarve, Portugal 
  • ARG Hotels on the £80 million acquisition of the Crowne Plaza London - The City 
  • DIUS on the £500 million outsourcing contract for the operation of the National Physical Laboratory.
