After a year as Sheriff of the City of London, Alderman Fiona Woolf has organised the Fourth Candlewick Debate on 14 March at CMS Cameron McKenna at 5:00 for 5:30pm. This year's topic looks at the key ingredients for the City to flourish and to create the jobs and revenues that are going to stimulate economic growth. It also confronts the thorny issues of the business culture, restoring trust and the uncertainties of financial services regulation. This year's speakers are top commentators and practitioners:
- Anthony Hilton Broadcaster and Columnist, Evening Standard
- Anthony Belchambers Chief Executive, Futures and Options Association
- Robin Cresswell Managing Principal, Payden & Rygel Global Ltd
- Richard Sermon Chairman of the City Values Forum
- Simon Morris Partner, CMS Cameron McKenna
As before, as many participants as possible will be encouraged to take part in the Debate. CMS Cameron McKenna is kindly hosting a reception after the Debate. If the topic is relevant to others in your organisation, please feel free to pass the details on to them. Please note, there is no charge for this event. To attend, please contact alison.cooper@cms-cmck.com.
We hope you will be able to join us.
