We are repeating our recent London seminar on "The new world of living wills" for our Scottish clients and contacts.
The new regulatory regime for Recovery and Resolution plans (living wills) will have a profound impact on the way financial institutions are regulated. There will be a host of new requirements, including Business Resolution Officers, Business Information Packs and reverse stress testing. There will also be major reform and enforcement on client asset protection, including a possible new Client Asset Authority and Client Asset Trustee.
At this seminar we will:
- explain the new requirements, their current status and the likely impact;
- consider how to dry-run your firm's demise and what you will need to show to the regulator;
- examine the practical issues for firms;
- look at the demands on legal counsel (both in-house and external) and others involved.
