Simon Pilcher joined CMS Cameron McKenna in 1994, has specialised in pensions since qualification in 1997 and has been Partner since 2003.
Simon advises trustees, companies, investors and insurance companies on all aspects of the law relating to occupational pension schemes. He has particular experience of advising on scheme amendments, consolidations of trust deed and rules, benefit changes, funding and investment issues, in addition to general advisory work.
Simon regularly advises major clients on the pensions issues which arise on mergers and acquisitions, has advised on a large number of matters involving the Pensions Regulator and has successfully made numerous applications for Clearance. Simon also advises on pension disputes, including those before the Pensions Ombudsman, High Court litigation and mediation.
Simon is named as a Leading Individual in the Chambers Guide to the Legal profession and 'pleases clients with the provision of solid, dependable and reliable advice'.
