Sally Badham

Sally Badham heads up the real estate team in the Bristol office with close interaction with the real estate team in London. 

She acts for developers in connection with site acquisitions, development and funding agreements. She also acts for pension funds and institutional investors in connection with forward purchases and investment purchases.      

In addition Sally advises on landlord and tenant work, freehold sales and acquisitions and corporate support work.   

Relevant experience includes advising:    

• Supermarket retailer on dealing with the development of new stores and the sale and leaseback of several distribution centres around the UK, having previously dealt with the original negotiations and acquisition of sites for the development of state of the art centres of approximately 600,000 sqft each
• Institutional investors on the £50m acquisition of a mixed use scheme in south London and several large shopping centres and industrial estates
• Developer clients on the acquisition of, development and lettings for a large retail park; the negotiation and drafting of complex collaboration documents in relation to the regeneration of a large site in Hampshire with the collaboration involving 5 parties including English Partnerships and 2 councils - the site to provide a mixed use scheme to improve the local community
