Reneta Petkova

Reneta Petkova is a Partner in the CMS Cameron McKenna office in Sofia and Head of the local Banking and International Finance practice.

Reni has considerable experience in the Bulgarian corporate, banking and finance sectors. She has acted as legal department head for United Bulgarian Bank, chief legal advisor to the Bank Consolidation Company AD, legal advisor of Bankservice AD and legal advisor to the Management Board of the Bulgarian National Bank. Reneta is an extremely well-known and respected professional and is constantly praised by clients and rivals alike for her consistent and efficient methods and her familiarity with the market.

She has extensive experience working on project finance and bank lending transactions and advising clients on financial matters, both on the lender and the borrower’s side. Reneta is very well familiar with local regulations and has much of experience advising clients on related issues.
