Rafał Stroiński, a member of the Polish Advocate’s Bar and US-qualified attorney and counsellor at law admitted in New York State, is an Of Counsel in CMS Cameron McKenna’s Warsaw Corporate Department.

He has seventeen years of experience in the practice of law. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, private equity and venture capital transactions.

Rafał has been consistently listed in Chambers Europe and The Legal 500 EMEA, leading global guides to the legal profession, as a recommended Corporate, M&A and Private Equity expert.

Rafał is an Associate Professor (Adiunkt) at Warsaw University Law School. His research focuses on Law and Economics and Comparative Law and in particular on board member liability regulations. Rafał also lectures at the Academy of Capital Markets Leaders.

He is also a director in the US-Polish Trade Council, a California non-profit corporation aimed at fostering business relations between Silicon Valley and Poland.

Rafał holds a Ph.D. in law from Warsaw University Law School, an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School, a master’s honors degree from Warsaw University Law School and a master’s degree in Iberian Studies from Warsaw University. He was also a Fulbright and Polish Science Foundation Visiting Scholar at Stanford Law School.

Rafał speaks fluent English and Portuguese, and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
