After the very successful first and second debates on the liquidity crisis and regulation, Alderman Fiona Woolf and Simon Morris of CMS Cameron McKenna have organised another debate to look at the City from different angles, recognising that in the City there is so much more than financial services.
Has the City focused enough on security and affordability of energy supply, business needs, climate change, corporate social responsibility or its competitiveness? What are the urgent items to which it should pay attention?
The debate will be open to a wide audience drawn not only from banks, fund managers, corporates and insurance professionals but also from the energy, water and infrastructure sectors.
This year's speakers are at the top of their professions and occupy key roles:
Stephen Vaughan Managing Director, Rothschild Mark Field MP Member of Parliament for the City and Westminster Anthony Belchambers Chief Executive of the Futures and Options Association Simon Morris Partner, CMS Cameron McKenna and an expert in financial services regulation
As last year, as many participants as possible will be encouraged to make contributions to the debate.
CMS Cameron McKenna is kindly hosting a reception after the debate.
If this debate is relevant to others in your organisation, please feel free to pass the details onto them. Please note there is no charge for attending our seminars.
We hope you will be able to join us. Please RSVP here.
