Pavel Hristov specialises in Competition Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Company Law, and European Law.

Examples of Pavel's experience includes advising (either on vendor or bidder side) on M&A domestic and cross-border transaction structures and documentation; representing parties before the Bulgarian Competition Commission (CPC), advising clients on various merger control and antitrust cases, including alleged abuse of dominance, restrictive vertical agreements, state aid, and unfair competition.

Pavel has contributed to a number of publications: he was Co-author of the Chapter on Bulgaria in The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Product Liability 2005 of Global Legal Group Ltd; he has written a number of articles on consumer law for the business oriented daily newspaper Dnevnik; he is also the author of “The Q&A Guide to Competition in Bulgaria” in the PLC Cross-border Competition Law Handbook 2006/2007; he writes monthly updates – Multijurisdictional Competition developments for Bulgaria on PLC on-line.

Pavel has a LLM degree from the Plovdiv University, Bulgaria, and also holds a LLM degree in International and European Law from the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands.
