Pavel Hristov

Pavel Hristov specialises in Competition and European Union Law in parallel to his principal area of expertise Corporate Law (Mergers & Acquisitions and Company Law).

Examples of Pavel's experience include advising on and helping clients implement M&A domestic and cross-border transactions (either on seller or buyer side). He regularly represents clients before the Bulgarian Competition Commission and helps in various merger control and antitrust cases such as alleged abuses of dominance, restrictive vertical agreements, state aid and unfair competition.

Pavel has contributed to a number of publications: he was Co-author of the Chapter on Bulgaria in The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Product Liability 2005 of Global Legal Group; he has written a number of articles on consumer law for the business oriented daily newspaper Dnevnik; he is also the author of “The Q&A Guide to Competition in Bulgaria” in the PLC Cross-border Competition Law Handbook 2006/2007; in the past three years he contributes monthly updates for Bulgaria on PLC Multijurisdictional Competition on-line.
