Patrick Donegan

Patrick is a partner within the Banking and International Finance department. He has a wide range of experience acting for banks, corporate borrowers and private equity providers in relation to a range of acquisition, property, general finance and restructuring work. Patrick has been seconded to Lloyds Banking Group to its syndicated lending area and to its business support unit.

His recent experience includes:

Corporate and Property Finance

• Advising a high-end outlet shopping centre on on its £190 million refinancing
• Advising a listed house building and construction group on its £325 million facilities
• Advising a hotel group in relation to its £425 million investment and development finance facilities
• Advising a listed pub company on a variety of facilities including its £625 million forward start facility Leveraged Finance
• Advising a club of UK banks on a £150 million facility to assist in the acquisition of a technology company 
• Advising an investment house on its £85 million of facilities to assist in its acquisition of a freight group
• Advising a syndicate of banks on facilities to assist in funding the public takeover of a listed research and diagnostic group
• Advising a private equity house on facilities to assist in its acquisition of a global managed network provider and subsequent refinancing
• Advising a UK Bank on its £207 million of facilities to fund the public takeover of high street clothing retailer 

Restructuring

• Advising a European telecommunications company in the restructuring of circa €240 million worth of debt - Advising a syndicate of UK Banks on the restructuring and subsequent sale of a marine electronics business
