Norman Wisely is a partner based in the Aberdeen office and specialises in oil and gas law, and in particular oil and gas mergers and acquisitions work.

Norman has extensive experience in advising clients on oil and gas matters in the UK and internationally, including leading numerous acquisitions and disposals of UKCS and international offshore and onshore oil and gas assets, advising on oil and gas related share transactions, on transportation and infrastructure projects, decommissioning security and all contractual matters relevant to exploration and production of hydrocarbons.

Norman joined CMS Cameron McKenna in 1998, qualifying in 2000 and was appointed a partner in May 2007.

Norman is also the author of chapters on oil and gas transactions in two standard oil and gas legal textbooks and regularly presents seminars on oil and gas law to clients, industry associations and for the University of Aberdeen LLM.

University of Dundee, 1997, LLB(Hons), 1998 DipLP. Dual qualified in Scotland, and England and Wales. Notary Public in Scotland.
