Nigel Moore trained with Radcliffes & Co, joining the firm on qualification in 1986. He became a partner in the firm in 1994 and Head of the Pensions Team in 1997. Nigel is also Head of the HR Group and Commercial Practice Group Manager. He was appointed a Managing Director in 2008.
Nigel specialises in pensions, where he has wide-ranging experience, including extensive litigation experience. He focuses particularly on strategic issues, for example advising companies and trustees in takeover situations; major scheme mergers; and on pension scheme restucturings. He advised the trustees of the first pension scheme to apply for entry to the Pension Protection Fund.
Nigel is ranked in both the Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession and the Legal 500. A member of the Association of Pension Lawyers, Nigel served on its main committee from 2002-2006. Nigel is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences, including three times at the APL's Annual Conference.
