Małgorzata Chruściak, a qualified Polish advocate, is Partner in Banking and International Finance Department in CMS Cameron McKenna’s Warsaw office. She is head of the banking practice in the field of regulatory, bankruptcy and restructuring issues.
Małgorzata specialises in commercial law and specifically in banking law. She has advised Polish and foreign banks on a number of financial projects. She has extensive experience in providing legal advice on investment project financing, syndicated loans and restructuring transactions (including the ones involving insolvency risk). In addition, Małgorzata Chruściak has advised renowned Polish banks on standard documentation for both corporate and retail banking and drafted their agreement templates and bank by-laws. She was leading the process of bank formations in Poland and in acquisitions of stakes in Polish banks and other financial institutions by foreign investors, including mergers of international financial institutions.
Prior to joining CMS Cameron McKenna, Małgorzata has worked for six years in several leading Polish financial institutions and for nine years in Warsaw office of White & Case.
She is fluent in English.
