Lukáš Janíček is a Czech advocate who graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague and also holds a Masters degree in Economics. Lukáš is a core member of the Prague Energy, Projects and Construction team.

Lukáš has a broad range of skills covering most areas of Czech law, including in particular, mergers & acquisitions, real estate and construction.
Lukáš has been recently involved in a number of transactions in the energy sector and has been in charge of coordinating due diligence processes, real estate and construction-related issues, negotiations of transaction documentation, review, preparation and negotiation of EPC and O&M contracts.

Lukáš was also a member of the team advising an international power generator on the acquisition of a power plant and a heating plant in the Czech Republic. 

Lukáš’ experience in the renewable sector includes acting for a private equity fund on its acquisitions of several solar, wind and biomass power plant developments. His experience further includes advising international investors on their investments into one of the largest Czech solar power plant developer and operator.

In addition, Lukáš is the head of the environmental team in Prague. His environmental experience includes advising on several due diligence reports in respect of environmental matters as well as on various aspects of the E.I.A. (environmental impact assessment) proceedings. He also advised a client in the automotive industry in respect of an environmental warranty claim against the Czech state.

During his secondment to London office of CMS Cameron McKenna, Lukáš was a member of the team acting for a major UK developer of commercial properties.
