Lukáš Hejduk

Lukáš is a Czech advocate and has joined CMS Cameron McKenna v.o.s. in early 2006.

He is the leader of Prague Hotels & Leisure sector group team and his primary area of expertise is real estate and construction law, as well as commercial and corporate law. Lukáš has also obtained considerable experience in employment law, arbitration and environmental law.

Lukáš has been involved in major real estate projects including construction projects, development of shopping centres, leasing, design build lease and sale and lease-back transactions for office, retail and industrial premises and numerous greenfield investments into production plants by foreign investors in the Czech Republic. Lukáš is also a member of local energy and utilities sector group and has been involved in number of due diligences in the energy sector.

Typical projects where Lukáš has participated consisted of advising public sector institutions, major Czech and international corporations and individuals on property development and construction projects, greenfield and brownfield investments, company structure establishment, corporate management, as well as extensive due diligence and employment issues.

Relevant experience includes advising:

• Joint-venture between Panattoni and a fund managed by Standard Life Investment on the disposal of one of the biggest warehouses in the Czech Republic, D5 Logistics Park, a 62,000 square metre logistics and industrial space to a Greek private equity fund
• Somerston Group on the sale of Olympia Shopping Centre, the largest regional shopping centre in the Czech Republic, with approximately 85,000 sqm of lettable area
• Mayfield on the sale of an office building in Prague to an investment fund
• NIKE on lease of office premises in Prague
• Standridge Color Corporation on leasing and development of a plant in the Czech Republic
• Prologis on acquisitions of various real estate projects
• Various Japanese companies on leasing and dispute resolution matters
• Major Czech energy group on the development and financing of the acquisition of various energy projects
• Major US and UK private equity funds on acquisition of shares in a major Czech energy group
• Swedish private equity fund on the sale of Czech textile manufacturer
• DHL Real Estate on sale and leaseback of an office warehouse complex in the Czech Republic
• Exel on its dispute with LG Philips (the dispute was settled successfully)
• A fund managed by Pramerica Real Estate Investors on the acquisition of office and retail complex A7 Arena Holešovice from ING Real Estate Development.
