Lorna Dawson

Lorna Dawson is a specialist energy lawyer, advising energy companies and contractors on major projects and commercial contracts both in the UKCS and internationally. 

Lorna has extensive experience on all aspects of oil and gas projects, from licensing to field development, transportation, sales and decommissioning.

Lorna joined CMS Cameron McKenna's Aberdeen office in 1998, dual qualifying in English law soon after. She was based in the Moscow office in 2005/2006, working with international and Russian companies on a wide range of transactions. In addition Lorna tutors at the University of Aberdeen and regularly gives seminars to clients and industry associations on contract law and energy related issues.
