Liam Kerr is a senior associate in the firm's Scottish employment team and is based in our Aberdeen office. Liam has specialised in employment law since qualification, and has many years' experience acting for employers in particular.
Liam has a great deal of experience of large scale transfers and reorganisations and has appeared for employers in a notable series of Tribunal hearings featuring demanding and contentious issues including territorial jurisdiction, implied employment status, interim relief against dismissal for trade union reasons and disability discrimination. Liam brings a particular focus on IR35, agency workers and trade union issues to our team.
Robert Gordon University retain Liam as a course tutor in its increasingly popular Employment Tribunal Practice and Procedure Course. Dual qualified in England and Scotland and a fluent French speaker, Liam's background in commerce prior to becoming a lawyer allows him to provide consistently pragmatic solutions-based commercial advice. Liam is also a member of the Industrial Law Society.
