Karolina Siedlik is a partner in the Warsaw Office Energy Projects and Construction Team.
She participated in several non-recourse financed projects in Poland, including the construction and operation of combined head and power plants and, most recently, the major Gdańsk refinery extension and upgrade project. In all cases she worked on the preparation and negotiation of a significant number of project documents, in particular engineering, procurement and construction contracts, in which she specialises, but also various long term contracts required for the financing and operation of the project facilities, such as long term fuel and materials supply and products offtake agreements, including electricity and heat delivery agreements, coal supply agreements, maintenance and operation contracts, electricity trading contracts, hydrocarbon delivery and offtake contracts, handling and transportation contracts. She also assists a number of our international clients in development and acquisitions of wind farm projects, and other renewable energy sources in Poland.
Karolina’s oil and gas sector experience includes regulatory advice related to import of, and trading in natural gas in Poland, tariffs for natural gas, feedstock and oil products supply and delivery contracts, and transactions related to acquisition of oil and gas upstream and oil refining assets.
Apart from the above experience, Karolina assists our clients on energy sector specific public procurement regulations, other energy and gas regulatory matters, construction permitting and grid connection issues, as well as negotiations of various contracts relating to the activities of the power, fuel and gas sector.
