John Naccarato

John Naccarato is a partner in the Banking and International Finance group. 

John has extensive experience in all areas of bank financing, acting for lenders and borrowers on both national and cross-border financings. His expertise includes acting for senior lenders, mezzanine lenders (bilateral and syndicated), private equity providers and borrowers in both corporate and leveraged finance transactions. He also acts for lenders and borrowers in all types of property and development financings, both nationally and in Europe, and acts for financiers in corporate restructurings and work outs.

Legal 500 2008 said that 'John Naccarato is one of the lynchpins of the group, and handles a mix of acquisition finance and general lending'.  Chambers 2008 notes that John 'has proved valuable for working well with bank side clients to push the transaction through smoothly'.

Relevant experience includes advising: 

• Enterprise Inns plc on the financing for its £2.3 billion acquisition of the Unique and Voyager securitised pub estates from Nomura International plc
• A large UK bank on its funding of the MBO of the Boosey & Hawkes instrument division
• A large UK bank on the £380 million of facilities put in place to fund Arora’s acquisition of the Airport Hotels Unit Trust
• Guiness Peat Group on the funding of its Rule 9 bid for Coats Viyella plc
• A large UK bank on facilities put in place in connection with iSOFT Group plc’s £346 million bid for Torex PLC
