Jenia Rusanova is a Bulgarian qualified lawyer, practising as a senior associate in CMS Cameron McKenna in Sofia. Jenia has considerable experience in Bulgarian commercial, employment and corporate matters.
Her experience in employment includes advising clients on Bulgarian employment regulations as part of legal due diligence reports, on personal data regulations, M&A related employment matters, issues of non-compliance and on recruitment and corporate restructuring. She advises clients on various aspects of individual employment, including hiring of personnel, determining benefits and compensation plans and processing involuntary termination in the companies on a regular basis. She also assists clients in introducing employment-related documentation to their operations in Bulgaria.
Education:
Jenia graduated from the Faculty of Law in the Sofia University in 2000. She is a member of the Bulgarian Bar Association. Jenia’s native language is Bulgarian and she also speaks English and French.
