James is a Partner in our Financial Services and Capital Markets team. He is also a member of the Life, Pensions & Longevity Risk team, a specialist, multi-disciplinary team devoted to transactions in the longvity risk transfer market. James' practice spans domestic and international corporate, insurance and reinsurance transactions. He has particular experience in the life, pensions and annuities markets, having advised on a broad spread of transactions including longevity (re)insurances and swaps, pension buy-ins and large-scale bulk annuity “backbook” reinsurance transactions. James is recommended as a leader in The Legal 500 2010. James is fluent in English, French and German.
