James Miller has been a partner in the Real Estate Team since 2004 having joined CMS Cameron McKenna in 1997.
James handles all aspects of commercial property transactions, including: fundings and developments, property financings, institutional acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant issues, setting up property financings and acquiring and disposing of property structures. Recent projects include the development, letting and sale of 14 Cornhill in the City and the forward funding of the Broadway Scheme, Glasgow.
James is an active member of the Hotels & Leisure sector group and has been involved with major portfolio sale and manage-backs and sale and lease-backs. He is a regular speaker on the Hotels' conference circuit and has a particular expertise for hotel leases (eg EBITDAR-based leases) in the UK and elsewhere in Europe.
