Iveta Plachá is a Czech advocate and the Managing Partner of the Prague office of CMS Cameron Mckenna. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague in 1984. In 1985 she obtained the title Doctor of Law.
She joined the Prague office of CMS Cameron McKenna in 2003 and was appointed Managing Partner in January 2007. Iveta focuses primarily on real estate, property finance and construction law and is highly commended in this field not only by clients and other lawyers, but also by major independent rating companies.
Her clients appreciate her knack of 'cutting a four-hour job down to a one-hour task' and they have the 'utmost confidence' in her work (Chambers Europe, 2008).
Iveta has represented clients in connection with large international retail and office developments, construction, financing as well as leasing and acquisitions representing private investors, funds and banks. She acts for many Czech and international clients including UBM, Warimpex, DHL, Deka Immobilien Investment, AIG or Lighthouse Group, Pradera or Pramerica.

- Pradera AM PLC on a purchase of three retail centres in the Czech Republic in various cities
- Park Hana, Ostrava Retail Park, Futurum Ostrava on the acquisition and financing of commercial and retail centre Centro Zlín DHL Exel
- Supply Chain, sro on the build and lease of new logistics facilities in the Czech Republic and the sale and leaseback of DHL's Czech portfolio, a fund managed by Pramerica Real Estate Investors on the acquisition of office and retail complex A7 Arena Holešovice from ING Real Estate Development
- AIG Global Real Estate Investment Ltd on purchase of hotels in the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, on behalf of the purchaser
- UBM on various projects, including for instance on the development of an office building and subsequent lease to CETELEM ČR, a.s, as well as on the EUR 52 million sale of a share deal of administration centre Andel City
