Helen Johnson

Helen Johnson has over nine years experience of acting on corporate transactions. Her experience includes advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, IPOs, public takeovers and private equity work, including advising management and investors on management buy-outs, public to privates and exits.

Helen has particular expertise in consumer products work, having founded the firm's Retail practice, and has advised on several retail related transactions. Helen also has a focus on corporate insurance work, having advised on many insurance related transactions, in particular on the sale and acquisition of insurance brokers.  

Relevant experience includes advising:

• On the US$286 million acquisition of shares in MedQuist Inc by CBaySystems Holdings Limited and its subsequent re-admission to AIM 
• A potential purchaser of Woolworths prior to its administration 
• The vendors of TM Lewin on its £50m management buy out
• Management on the public to private of Windsor Group plc 
• The sellers on the £40 million sale of Martello Underwriting Limited to RSA
