Gary Green

Gary Green is a Partner in the Corporate department.

Gary has extensive experience of a wide variety of corporate matters including corporate finance, domestic and cross-border M&A, restructurings and joint ventures. He has often been involved in the largest and most complex transactions.

Gary advises clients across a wide range of industry sectors including energy, lifesciences, real estate and construction and TMT.

Relevant experience includes advising:

• Informa on its £502 million takeover of Datamonitor, rights issue of £255 million and corporate redomiciliation
• John Laing on its £1 billion takeover by Henderson
• Galliford Try on its £108 million takeover of Linden Homes and acquisitions of Chartdale and the Morrison Construction Division and associated placings and open offers 
• Alfred McAlpine on its £570 million takeover by Carillion 
• Enterprise Inns on the acquisition and disposal of pub estates 
• National Grid on its £14.8 billion merger with Lattice and £5.8 billion disposal of gas distribution networks   
• Hunting on a number of acquisitions and disposals including Hunting's disposal of Gibson Energy for CAN$1.2 billion as well as a £46 million rights issue 
• Hubbell on a number of disposals and acquisitions of UK businesses 
• Puricore on a placing and open offer 
• On various restructurings, a number of which have involved offshore jurisdictions including the Cayman Islands, Jersey and Luxembourg
