Gabriella Ormai is the Managing Partner of our Budapest office, dealing with corporate and commercial law and supervising the practice groups operating within office.

She has extensive knowledge of Hungarian corporate and commercial law and has worked on several major transactions that have restructured the Hungarian economy over the last fifteen years. As the managing partner of CMS Budapest, Gabriella ensures efficient staffing and continuous delivery of high-value legal services we are committed to.

  • Apollo Tyres on all legal aspects of setting up a greenfield tyre plant in Hungary including state aid
  • Samsung on all aspects of the establishment of their operations in Hungary, and providing ongoing day to day commercial legal advice
  • Iberdrola on acquisition of various wind parks projects in Hungary
  • FMC, a privately held IT consulting and services company, on the sale of the company to Ness Technologies B.V, an Israel-based IT services and solutions provider
  • A major solutions provider on implementation of NBPP, a complex consultancy agreement with GE Money Bank. A substantional deal in the financial services sector
