Gabriela Vendlová

Gabriela Vendlová is the partner of the Commercial Department in the Czech Republic. She joined the Prague office of CMS Cameron McKenna in September 2008. Gabriela specialises in intellectual property law, TMT and litigation. She has specialised in intellectual property since 1994, with a focus on IP enforcement, trademark portfolio management and a variety of issues related to commercial law (distribution agreements, franchise agreements, media law, advertising, regulatory issues regarding FMCG companies and companies distributing luxury goods).  

Gabriela provided a full enforcement service to multinational consumer goods companies (monitoring the market for infringing products, cooperating with private investigators, the Czech Police, customs offices, the Czech Trademark Inspectorate and other authorities regarding seizures of counterfeit goods, and legal representation of brand owners at Czech courts). 

Relevant experience includes advising:

• A large international pharmaceutical company in unfair competition litigation against a Czech infringer of product labelling   
• A large natural cosmetics company in various trademark enforcement matters   
• Large multinational software companies in trademark litigation related to trademark squatting   
• A large international pharmaceutical company in unfair competition litigation against a Czech infringer of product labelling   
• Large consumer goods companies with a full trademark enforcement service
• A renowned software company in the purchase of a Czech developer of internet and intranet development tools, including intellectual property embedded in the assets
