Gábor Czike is a Partner specialising in real estate matters, including construction.

Gábor is the Head of the Real Estate practice in Budapest, supervising the work of six lawyers. Gábor has extensive experience in all property-related legal issues including stamp duty, environmental protection, planning and construction.

Relevant experience includes advising:  

  • ING PFCE on the acquisition of Campona shopping centre in Budapest from a Belgian investor. The deal involved complete due diligence, drafting and negotiating of the quota sale and purchase agreement and other related documents
  • Mosaic Property LLP on the acquisition of two office buildings in Budapest, Hungary, and the forward purchase of 12 park centres in Hungary
  • Futureal, a major Hungarian real estate developer, on the forward sale of a future shopping mall, Corvin Atrium (as part of the Corvin Setany development project) in Budapest to Kleppiere
  • GTC on a complex real estate acquisition financing transaction in relation to the future development of an office building in the XIII district of Budapest. We completed the drafting negotiation, due diligence and financing
  • TMW Pramerica on the forward purchase of two retail parks
