Elizabeth Campbell

Elizabeth is an associate in the Technology team and is a member of the firm’s Lifesciences Sector Group.  Elizabeth’s experience includes advising on a broad range of commercial agreements, in particular those with an intellectual property focus, providing commercial advice to pharmaceutical clients, and assisting with due diligence exercises within the Lifesciences sector.  Elizabeth graduated from The University of Melbourne, Australia with a LLB (Hons) and a BSc, specialising in Biochemistry.

Relevant experience includes advising:

• companies on drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements, collaboration and commercialisation agreements and licensing agreements;
• pharmaceutical companies on research and development agreements, and clinical trial agreements;
• European pharmaceutical companies on the regime for the compassionate use of medicines in the UK and the prevention of parallel importation of pharmaceutical products into the UK.;
• an international pharmaceutical company on the sale of its oncology business in Australia, in particular on certain regulatory issues;
• drafting precedent agreements for the supply and manufacture of bulk product and the supply of raw material for a pharmaceutical manufacturer; and
• the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation while on secondment in a commercial and IP legal role, including preparing detailed advices on the interpretation of existing contracts, drafting and negotiating new agreements with collaborative partners of CSIRO, as well as negotiation and settlement of disputes.
