Derek has extensive experience of advising on a broad range of development, investment and security matters for a client base of corporates, partnerships, banks and individuals.  He is dual qualified in Scotland and in England and Wales, has been with CMS Cameron McKenna since 2000 and covers our Aberdeen and Edinburgh offices. He is a joint contributor to CMS Cameron McKenna Guide to European Occupational Investment Leases. Lectured on property matters at Society of Advocates and University of Aderdeen.

  • Renewable energy - windfarm option, acquisition and disposal.
  • 3G telecommunications cellsite rollout for new entrant to UK market.
  • Hospital and water and wastewater ppp projects.
