David Day

David Day is a partner in CMS Cameron McKenna's corporate group. 

David has been with the firm since 1987 and has been a partner since 1997.

David acts on a wide range of corporate transactions.  In particular, he has expertise in the healthcare sector, being joint head of our healthcare team and relationship partner for key client, Nuffield Health.  David also has extensive experience in the infrastructure sector, having acted for, amongst others, Macquarie and National Grid, and also acts for a number of private equity investors, such as LDC and RBS Equity Capital.

David has also advised Royal Mail for many years and is the firm's relationship partner with this very important client.

Relevant experience includes advising:

• Nuffield Health on its acquisition of Cannons (awarded Leisure Report deal of the year 2008)
• Nuffield Health on the sale of a portfolio of hospitals to GHG for £140 million
• Nuffield Health on the sale of its Vanguard mobile operating theatres business for £31 million
• Macquarie on a number of international airport transactions
• Royal Bank Equity Capital on a number of transactions, including the sale of Dage, Expamet and Wayfarer
• Lloyds Development Capital on a number of transactions, including the sale of Duco
• Royal Mail on the restructuring of its parcels JV with TNT and Singapore Post
