Dariusz Greszta, a Polish-qualified legal advisor, is a Partner and head of CMS Cameron McKenna’s Warsaw Corporate Department.
He has represented a number of investment banks, Polish private and public issuers and the government of Poland in various financial transactions with particular emphasis on their activities on international capital markets. He has advised on many equity and debt offerings by Polish issuers, including the first Polish Eurobond and Polish Yankee bond issues, and the first GDR program. He also advises clients on public takeovers, delistings and other securities law related matters.
In addition to public market transactional experience, Dariusz advises clients on mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructurings. His clients include major Polish and international corporations, venture capital and private equity funds and Polish and international financial institutions such banks and insurance companies. His M&A experience covers share and asset transactions, leveraged MBOs, institutional or contractual joint ventures, green field investments and others. Also, Dariusz advises his clients on corporate restructurings, divestures, group reorganisations and recapitalisations of existing investments. He also advised on some high profile corporate disputes in Poland.
The 2010 edition of Chambers Global and Chambers Europe, leading guides to the legal profession, singles Dariusz out as a Corporate and M&A expert who impresses clients with his "ability to forge good relationships with his clients, ensuring a smooth advancement of deals”. Dariusz has also been repeatedly recommended by The Legal 500 EMEA and The IFLR 1000, another recognized legal directories, in both M&A and Private Equity.
He received his law degree from Jagiellonian University in Krakow and an LL.M. degree in International Business Law from the University of Houston, Texas.
