We are pleased to invite you and your colleagues to CMS's seminar supported by Ernst & Young on oil & gas service companies seeking to provide services directly into Brazil and to set up a division in Rio de Janeiro.
We will cover key issues on successfully working as an oil services firm in Rio including:
- contracting with Petrobras
- particular issues relating to 'local content' when working in Rio
- key issues on tax to consider when providing services to Brazil and in Brazil
- thoughts on transaction themes and environment in Brazil
As well as hearing from the experts, this event will provide an excellent opportunity for delegates to ask questions regarding their own issues they may have faced when exploring opportunities in the Brazilian Offshore industry.
The seminar on the contracting framework will be presented by Ted Rhodes, Partner in CMS's Rio de Janerio office. The presentation on tax and transaction issues will be covered off by Ernst & Young, Aberdeen.
