Cheryl Gibson

Having joined the firm in 2003, Cheryl qualified as an Associate in the London office where she worked until becoming a Partner in our Bristol office in 2011.

Cheryl specialises in PI, financial services claims and construction, both CAR and disputes against construction professionals, as well as advising on a variety of contentious and non-contentious insurance matters. 

Cheryl has handled disputes involving brokers, engineers, architects, project managers, surveyors and facilities management professionals, and monitors claims in a variety of jurisdictions. Cheryl’s experience includes the successful defence of a claim against a firm of surveyors in the Court of Appeal and the defence of the designers of the Wembley Stadium arch and roof.

In the financial services context, Cheryl has defended firms subject to FSA enforcement action, provided advice on dealing with FSA and advised companies involved in a high profile FSA investigation. Cheryl has also advised on Lloyd’s disciplinary actions.
