• RWE Npower on its joint venture with E.ON to develop new nuclear power stations in the UK
• Arcapita Bank on its acquisition of Freightliner, the UK freight rail business
• Babcock & Brown and RREEF on a potential bid for Gatwick Airport
• AAC Capital Partners on its acquisition of Jams Dewhurst Limited
