On 5 June our Kyiv office received two prestigious awards at the leading Ukrainian ceremony, the Legal Awards 2009, which was organised by Yurydychna Practika.
CMS Cameron McKenna in Kyiv received the award for Best International Law Firm of the Year. Also, for the second consecutive year Olexander Martinenko, Senior Partner and Head of Commercial practice, received the award for the Best Competition Lawyer of the Year.
Adam Mycyk and Olexander Martinenko, partners of the Kyiv office of CMS Cameron McKenna, also were recently ranked as the only lawyers in Band 1 for Ukraine in Corporate/Commercial work by Chambers Global 2009.
CMS Cameron McKenna opened its doors in Kyiv in September 2007 and was the first UK-headquartered law firm to open in Ukraine. The office comprises 45 lawyers, including five partners, and has already undertaken extensive work for clients such as Abris Capital Partners, ING, Wizz Air, HypoReal, Eurohypo, West LB and others.
