CMS Cameron McKenna LLP has advised Clinicenta Limited on its second major clinical services scheme.
The scheme is for the construction of a new £31 million Surgicentre on the grounds of the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, and a 5 year contract to provide clinical services to NHS patients worth approximately £122 million. The aim of the scheme, part of the Independent Sector Treatment Centre programme, is to reduce waiting times for NHS patients as well as providing more choice.
Clinicenta is a healthcare services specialist and is part of the Carillion group, the leading UK support services company.
This scheme follows on from CMS Cameron McKenna advising Clinicenta on another Independent Sector Treatment Centre based in north London which was signed in March this year.
The CMS Cameron McKenna team was led by Infrastructure and Project Finance Partner, Paul Smith and included Jason Davies, Philip Duffield, James Thomas, Rebecca Morrell, Gemma Sainsbury, Shelley Killiard, Emily Walsh, Alistair Watson, Sarah Ozanne, and Bill Carr.
