Our real estate finance team combines the expertise of banking, real estate, construction and tax practices.
We act for a wide variety of domestic and international clients, including financiers, developers, real estate trusts and funds on all aspects of real estate investment and development financings.
Partners in the team have extensive experience in all forms of real estate finance and in particular the necessary skillsets for development finance. Such experience is informed by knowledge of different markets sectors, such as shopping centres, hotels, office, industrial and residential developments.
Relevant experience includes advising:
- Acting for Nykredit on the financing of the Kamppi shopping centre, the largest shopping centre in Helsinki, Finland which is owned by Protego Real Estate
- A large UK bank on the financing of the development of two large office buildings (with TfL as the major tenant) as part of the initial development of the Greenwhich Peninsular site
- ARG Hotels on the acquisition of the Crowne Plaza London – The City hotel, including financing from UBS
