Amy Bird

Amy Bird trained with the firm and was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in August 2007, specialising in employment law. 

She has worked with a clients across a wide range of sectors in formulating service agreements and negotiating severance agreements, drafting staff handbooks, advising on individual disciplinary and dismissal issues, and advising on TUPE issues and the employee aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions.   

Amy's litigation experience includes handling Employment Tribunal claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. She also has experience of High Court litigation, including seeking injunctive relief for misuse of confidential information. 

Amy has published articles on developments in discrimination law and policy in journals and through our Law-Now service and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
