Adam Gillert is an associate in the Technology, Media and Telecoms team. He qualified in 2007 and joined the firm in 2008.

Adam advises on sourcing, payment services, technology and data protection. He has advised major UK companies, financial services institutions and multinational corporations and has experience of challenging face-to-face negotiations. His transactions to date have included a variety of local and multinational commercial deals and he is experienced at working directly with external legal and business teams.   

Relevant experience includes advising on:   

  • Payment Services: a major UK service provider, one of the UK’s largest retail branch networks, on an extension to a cheque processing services agreement
  • Business Process Sourcing: a pension fund of financial services institution, negotiating and drafting an agreement for transformation BPO services and outsourcing of back office functions (including off-shoring to South Africa)
  • Commercial Agreements: a French clothing retailer, drafting sales agreements for marketing and promotion in the UK, a major global bank drafting elements of the bank’s standard framework agreement, a major UK service provider, one of the UK’s largest retail branch networks, on a major redevelopment of its retail branch contracts
  • Technology Sourcing: a major global bank on, drafting and negotiating a multi-million pound global framework services agreement through which that bank’s worldwide services procurement from IBM will be satisfied
  • Data Protection: a multinational group on intra-group data export and data sharing arrangements
